Day 01: Arrival at Kochi Kerala, with its lush green paddy fields and numerous water bodies is popularly known as God's own country. A beach and backwater tour to Kerala will provide most fond memories of the place. On the day of your arrival at the Kochi airport you will be welcomed by a member of our team as we provide one of the finest Kerala itineraries for your Kerala beach and backwater tour. Henceforth, you will be escorted to a hotel where you will reside for the night. Day 02: At Kochi This day, designed as per our Kerala itinerary, will begin with sightseeing in the historic city, Kochi. As we take you on an expedition into the city you will come across various interesting sights such as Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church which is the landmark in the Fort Kochi. To spice up your tour we will take you to the most attractive feature of Kerala tour, the Spice market, from where you can buy some flavor of South India for home. The fatigue of the trip around the city will be healed by the overnight stay at the hotel. Day 03-04 : Kochi- Kumarakom The third day will begin with a drive to Kumarakom backwaters. At Kumarakom you will check into a backwater resort and you can then spend the evening amidst the soothing ambience of Water Bird Sanctuary on the banks of Vembanad Lake. The massage and treatments of ayurveda thereafter will be arranged for you, to provide you an eternal essence of Kerala on your South India tour. Next day you will be taken on a joy ride on the scenic Vembanad Lake and the beautiful picnic spot, Aruvikkuzhi waterfalls. Day 05 :Kumarakom-Alleppey Overnight stay at Kumarakom backwater resort will heal all the fatigue of your journey. Thus, an afternoon cruise will then take you on a striking ride towards your next destination, Alleppey on your Kerala beach and backwater tour. Accommodated in a houseboat for the night you will swathe the distance to Alleppey very comfortably and peacefully amidst the scenic beauty of azure backwaters and lush green palm trees. Day 06: Alleppey-Kovalam In the morning you will disembark the houseboat and accommodation will then be provided at a resort. The day thereafter will be open for individual sightseeing and you can laze around or enjoy another cruise at the Alleppey backwaters. The sight of these backwaters is amazingly beautiful with Arabian Sea paralleled to these backwaters one can relish the calming sight all the while on a Kerala beach and backwater tour. Here you will be accommodated for the night. Day 07 : At Kovalam The seventh day of your Kerala itinerary will begin with a voyage to Kovalam where you will check into a beach resort. Kovalam is a small village on the Malabar Coast along the Kerala seashore. You can then enjoy the secluded beaches of Kovalam and indulge into seafaring or just laze under the tropical sun at the edges of the ocean. Prior to the night stay you can enjoy the stunning sunset. Day 08 : Kovalam-Trivandrum- Departure The next day you can receive the soothing ayurvedic treatments at your beach resort and laze under the sun.
