Day 01: Trivandrum - Kovalam Kerala, the God's Own Land, as you may call it, opens up a plethora of mesmerizing attractions for you to explore. As you arrive in Trivandrum, Magadh Tours awaits you with a specially designed Kerala Tour-Gods Own Country, meticulously planned to make your trip memorable. Fantastic transfer arrangement is made for you from Trivandrum to Kovalam, the pristine beach town. Our team will take you to your lodging destination for an overnight stay. Day 02: Kovalam Spend the day exploring the beautiful beach and the beautiful town of Kovalam, which is a must for those on Kerala Tour. Magadh Tours offers you special day excursion to neighboring Kanyakumari and other places. You can also experience the traditional Ayurvedic Massages, which is a specialty of Kerala, during the day. Day 03: Kovalam – Varkala The third day of your Kerala itinerary begins with a pleasant drive to the scenic coastal town of Varkala. The unique and mesmerizing beach here features towering cliffs, which lies adjacent to the sea. Spend the whole day in Varkala exploring the various other attractions or just laze on the pristine beach to enjoy Varkala at its best-Overnight stay at Varkala. Day 04: Varkala - Alappuzha Begin Day 4 of this Gods Own Country Kerala Tour with a memorable drive to the picturesque town of Alappuzha blessed with pristine beaches, backwaters, canals and lagoons. Enjoy your stay in one of the beautiful backwater resorts in Alappuzha, which is a fascinating experience in itself. Overnight stay at Alappuzha. Day 05: Alappuzha - Kayamkulam On Day 5 you travel to the city of Kayamkulam a scenic ancient market town popular for its fishing, coir and tourism industries, one of the hi-points of the Kerala Tour-Gods Own Country. You will cover this distance on a beautiful houseboat from where you can have a glimpse of the lives of the local Fishermen and their fishing techniques. You can choose among the various room types such as double and four bedded rooms with attached bathrooms and host of facilities such as a personal cook to make your stay comfortable. Day 06: Kayamkulam – Changanassery Next morning, we resume our tour on the houseboat through the famous backwaters of Kerala. Now you will be taken to the small fishing village of Changanassery. Day 07: Changanassery - Kumarakom The next destination is Kumarakom, which is constituted by a cluster of small islands on the Vembanad Lake in Kerala. In Kumarakom your accommodation is arranged in a beautiful backwater resort where an overnight stay is scheduled. Day 08: In Kumarakom Kumarakom offers varied attractions which is why Day 8 is dedicated to this small picturesque village. Day 09: Kumarakom - Periyar The ever-enchanting Periyar is the next destination on this itinerary. On day 9 enjoy your drive to Periyar, known for the River Periyar, the second longest and the perennial river of Kerala. On arrival you will be checked-in to a hotel. Day 10: Periyar - Munnar Next morning, we move to Munnar, known for its vast tea estates, and rich flora and fauna. Check- in to a hotel upon arrival arranged by us. An overnight stay is scheduled in Munnar. Day 11: In Munnar In Munnar the day is spent exploring the various attractions of the area such as national parks and wildlife sanctuaries. Enjoy the serenity of Munnar at night as well with an overnight stay here. Day 12: Munnar to Kochi After breakfast, the itinerary takes you to Kochi. A pleasant drive from Munnar takes you to Kochi where pre-hand arrangements for your lodging are made. Once a princely kingdom, Kochi offers several attractions. The Kochi markets, among these is not to be missed. An overnight stay at Kochi is scheduled. On special request cultural programmes such as Kathakali Dance Show can be organized, a specialty of every India Tour. Day 13: Kochi The last day of this fascinating trip ends in Kochi.
